Salvador Rueda: Looking at the city as an ecosystem

Salvador Rueda is an urban ecologist. He is the founder and director of the Urban Ecology Agency of Barcelona. Undoubtedly, one of his great merits is to have achieved from the ecology to propose theories and tools for urban planning and city planning. He is a pioneer and a visionary on this subject. Today, his theory of superblocks has a global echo, as it tends to liveable cities, cities for life, for people. LA Network spoke with him about his motivations, the ecosystemic urbanism and, of course, the superblocks.
